Chemically inert and thermally stable to 550°F (287°C), Membrane RZ® is a PTFE (polytetraflouroethylene) surface filter membrane that is thermally bonded onto a variety of substrates. Exclusively available from PSC, the Membrane RZ family includes:

to 50% Stronger. Manufactured
using a proprietary Scrim-LOCK manufacturing process, the Membrane RZ
family of products are made with a special single-filament scrim to support
an array of felts. The Scrim-LOCK process was developed to eliminate bag-sag
common with ordinary membrane bags. Engineered to have a Mullen Burst
strength exceeding 600 psi and tensile (WARP/FILL) values exceeding 130/205
(lb/inch), Membrane RZ (polyester felt) is up to 50% stronger than the
other leading brand-name membrane products. |

Level PM2.5 Emissions Efficiency. Membrane
RZ fabrics, tested using ASTM/ETV test procedures, removed 99.9999% of
standard Pural NF Alumina particles having a mean diameter of 1.5 (plus
or minus one micron). Because of their superior filtration efficiency,

When a major pharmaceutical manufacturer told us his bags were prematurely losing pressure, our lab tests showed that the pressure-drop was not caused by clogging but by delamination of the membrane bags he was using.
